The 2012 Fender® American Standard Hand-Stained FSR Ash Telecaster is a beautifully distinctive new take on one of the most iconic guitars of all time. With this extremely limited guitar (only 125 of this model is available in the United States), an ash body with a gorgeous hand-rubbed stain beneath a satin-lacquer finish has been utilized to create an incredibly beautiful guitar with a distinctive look.
Features of this rare instrument include a five-screw mounted brass bridge plate for sonic stability, improved bent steel saddles with elongated string slots for increased resonance and sustain, a thinner undercoat finish for improved body resonance, tinted neck, 4-bolt neck attachment with Micro-TiltTM adjustment, bi-flex truss rod system, rolled fretboard edges, staggered tuning keys, and H/S/H pickup routing. Maple fingerboard neck has a satin finish on back with a gloss finish on front. A new molded Fender/SKB case with TSA locks, glass reinforced nylon trigger latches, and form fitted plush interior, rolled fingerboard edges.
